EHSQ Management
Dalkia operates a fully developed and established Safety and Environmental Management System that conforms to AS/NZS 4801, BS OSHAS 18001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, that comprises a suite of policy documents, procedures, instructions and associated tools Dalkia monitors the WHS & E legislative requirements and periodically updates or develops procedures accordingly in compliance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act 2011 and relevant Environmental legislation, including but not limited to:- Policy and Commitment;
- WHS & E Accountabilities & Responsibilities;
- WHS & E Induction;
- Objectives and Targets;
- Chemical Management (Refrigerants and Gasses);
- Hazard Management (Job Safety Analysis / Safe Work Method Statements);
- Consultation, Coordination and Cooperation;
- Safe Operational Controls (e.g. Confined Spaces, Working at Height, Control of Legionnaires Disease, Electrical Safety, Diving);

- Subcontractor and Supplier Management;
- Management Review.
The overarching Quality Management System is fully certified by BSI to ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems: Key features of the system are outlined below

Fully integrated process and procedure controls:
A key part of the Dalkia Integrated EHSQ Management System, contributing to the strong integration and alignment of one approach to quality, safety, environmental processes and procedures with engineering and other business processes.
Comprehensive quality controls:
The system embodies quality controls including procedures, forms and checklists to regulate the site and production processes from end to end. The system outlines compliance monitoring, surveillance and scheduled audit requirements, and procedures for rectifying non-conformances.
Clear traceability, document control, change management and records control:
Site systems provided across the supply chain and services are used to maintain records on quality and capture changes.
Transparent monitoring and reporting:
Specifies the comprehensive reporting requirements for performance, defect analysis, monitoring, audits and other quality metrics
Continuous improvement (CI):
Reinforces continuous improvement opportunities available through use of the Dalkia Continuous Improvement processes
